      > Wild images show several dogs near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant turning blue, baffling workers taking care of them. The alarming-looking dogs are descendants of pets abandoned after the nuclear disaster there nearly 40 years ago.

      > They’ve been found wandering around the Chernobyl exclusion zone this month, according to Dogs of Chernobyl, an affiliate of the non-profit Clean Futures Fund that cares for the dogs there.

      > “We are on the ground now catching dogs for sterilisation, and we came across three dogs that were completely blue,” the organisation said in an Instagram post with more than 330,000 views.

      > “We are not sure exactly what is going on.” Locals said that the dogs’ fur was normal just a week earlier. “We do not know the reason, and we are attempting to catch them so we can find out what is happening,” the spokesman added.

      > “Most likely, they’re getting into some sort of chemical.” While they are blue, they appear to be “very active and healthy,” the organisation said.

The blue dogs have shown up before in Russia but I don’t remember if it was Chernobyl.

There were wild blue dogs somewhere else in Russia several years ago. I can’t remember the reason. In retrospect, there probably wasn’t much sense in posting.

Guessing some dye spilled somewhere.  Genetic mutation expression in fur can’t happen in a week.

But, I hope I’m wrong and it’s some x-dogs shit.

    6. This happens here with boar sometimes. People spread diphacinone-laced bait to deal with a rodent problem. The bait has a green or blue dye in it that is designed to be absorbed into the tissues of any animal that consumes it so that 1) rodents killed by the bait can be identified; and 2) anything that isn’t a rodent that eats the bait or the rodent that ate the bait can be identifies, e.g. a boar someone might have hunted. The blue meat means “Don’t eat me. I am full of poison.”

    7. In California wild pigs have been showing up with blue meat(I don’t know if the skin is blue) but it’s from the pigs eating rat poison. Maybe the dogs are eating dead rats??

Colloidal silver ingestion, a byproduct of nuclear waste. Probably leaked into the water.
